Aluminium and brass candle stand by David Marshall (circa 1970s).

An English designer and artist living in Spain, Marshall has made a name for himself with these sand-cast, mixed metal designs in brass and aluminium since founding his studio in the late 1960s.

The imprecision of the process lends itself to these irregularly melded accessories.

Leather has been applied to the bottom of each piece to protect table surfaces, stamped with the David Marshall logo.

Condition: Good vintage condition. Irregularities in the metal surface are inherent to the sand casting process and should be viewed as enhancements to this design
