Description
Glazed terracotta doll with a rich geometric decoration, 1920s/1930s, made by the potters of Sejnane in Tunisia.
The big eyes that light up a radiant smile and the naive style of the decorations are typical of the creations of this pottery center, whose know-how and skills were listed in the  UNESCO list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity  in 2018. The techniques used date back to the Neolithic period.
